I've listened to Sticky and Lips a million times, but I could see Face Towards the Sun and If Your Light Goes Out beating those two out through the summer

 

That just makes it even more odd lol, but glad to hear this is a jam

 

Yeah it's strange, every other song feels a bit better in the mix(Guitars a lot more prevalent) and generally speaking the synth/drum mix is just so dynamic on the other songs. It's a really strange mix up.

 

It was very jarring listening to Pretender with headphones and being so stoked to listen to it in the car only to notice what everyone else was talking about. What a shame because it is a fantastic track.

The last 3 tracks on this record are my favorite stuff they've put out since LLL, not even remotely close either. The first 2/3 of the record is going to take some time to grow on me. I find the final 3 tracks to be *way* more cohesive songs compared to the others.
