I did this today in prep for the new album this week.

Still one of my favourite albums to come out in years.

 

we're doing LLL for my weekly record club this week, its maine mania

 

its been my go to album for the last 3 years. Always helps me get through the hard stuff.

 

Took this album for a spin this morning and I have to fully agree with this statement.

I'm honestly not excited about this record at all. None of the singles have been super memorable at all, and this thing's only got like 10 or 11 songs on it right? I'll listen, but I can't imagine they'll sway me too much.

 

I’ve only heard Sticky, and I’m pumped for this album.

 

That’s the way to go, I think the only thing that will hinder my enjoyment of this album is how much of it I’ve already listened to

 

I actually sort of agree with this. I think if I digested the songs in context I would get it more and knowing what to expect definitely takes away from that.

 

I typically only listen to the first single released from an album and then wait for the full thing. Angels & Airwaves are probably my only exception with this since they released two songs that we were told wouldn’t be on the album, and now they are.
