Really hope they stop by Michigan. I missed a good chunk of their set at 2023's Sad Summer and I'm still bummed that I did considering I had them sign an old magazine clipping.
for those of you that preordered AC...have you received it yet? i'm seeing people on reddit with the record and i still haven't even gotten shipping. reached out to support and they said they are only 2 people and they'll update when it ships. some people said they got it as early as two weeks ago.
Not yet. I also ordered the covers LP with it. Just trying to be patient since I know their team is small, but it does feel like some people have had theirs for weeks now.
Mine arrived last Friday and looked like this. Corner is bent, no surprise, but the record played fine/sounded great so I have not bothered complaining to customer service. Which is sounds like mostly doesn’t exist.
they answered pretty promptly, which was nice. but it was mostly just like a "wait and you'll get it" answer.
Yes, and it sounds really really good! Sounds like their company may need some additional hands, and/or someone devoted JUST to customer service inquiries.
I haven’t reached out. I probably should at least ask, but we waited so long just to get these copies! I’m just glad the record was spared any damage.
Wrote about an underrated The Maine song from an underrated The Maine album. My Life In 35 Songs, Chapter 18: “Growing Up” by The Maine
One of those songs that just sounds like summer to me. Not my all-time favorite Maine song, but definitely the one that sprang to mind when I was making the list for this series.
Growing Up was in a playlist of songs I made when I was first getting into The Maine, so reading your piece was quite special. So great to see how music can transcend the boundaries of sound.
