Gonna be a stressful Thursday!

 

How likely that this sells out on Pillar? Not very, right?

 

Well I've gotta hand it to em: they know how to get people to resub for another month of Pillar. I think I mentioned it previously, but was hoping this would drop by the 31st, which was when my Pillar sub ended. I'm definitely gonna re-up to make sure I get the variant I want of this LOL. Not risking the public sale for grabbing the pink/blue swirl (which I'm guessing is the exclusive variant.) Would be fine with any of these though just to finally own it.

This is the only band I'm willing to tolerate the special club thing. They do it really well and it's worth the cost, just not every month.

 

Not likely at all. I’d imagine they set aside a couple hundred for Pillar then the rest is public.

 

This is the Pillar-exclusive variant. 500 copies will be available.

 

Update: the Pillar variant sold out insanely fast. I’m pretty sure the store was available a few minutes before noon, I’m sure that affected it.

The merch is rad, the vinyl variants are delicious, most everything is available individually however some shirts are only available in bundles.

Got the half & half variant. Very excited. I just need to get CSWS (and ideally B&W eventually to complete the collection) and I'm all set.

 

oh god. i doubt B&W would ever get repressed. that would be fun.

 

Was it ever even pressed at all or does that one just not exist on vinyl?

 

I don't think B&W was ever pressed, which would feed into why they were looking at re-recording it.

 

Woke up at 5am and managed to snag the Pillar variant. So pumped!

 

Andddd all the vinyl is sold out. Would be super frustrated if I worked somewhere where I just got off and checked the store to find it unavailable

 

Which variant were you hoping for the most?

 

Oh, I signed up for Pillar this morning and snagged the Sweet Tart variant at 10:58AM. I was one of the privileged ones. I WFH and I had a meeting wrap up early at 10:45. So many in jobs, school, or life otherwise that couldn't get one during work hours and that sucks for them. I missed a few vinyl releases at my last job due to meetings or physical work that was critical (servers/IT stuff) and that feeling just sucked. So I feel for those people. This band needs to do so much better with vinyl releases. It's exhausting and frustrating with this band in particular.

It was bugging me that "Right Girl" is still <ironically> the wrong song on Amazon Music, so I reached out to the band's management to make them aware. Some type of slow country song ballad plays in its place on the Black & White album. I think the wrong song was uploaded months ago...

 

How have a never heard "Touch"? Just watched their warped tour set and WTF?! SUCH A GREAT SONG! Killer Opener!

i find this song to be more enjoyable live than the recording. have seen it 2-3 times now live and it crushes. when i listen in the car, not so much.

 

Yeah the mix is pretty boring and muted. Needs more bang

 

That full Warped Tour set was quite difficult to watch on Youtube - I've seen these guys live so many times and know they're usually great, but John's vocals were drowned

 

Yeah that set sounded rough. I saw them at one of the Asbury Park dates for the AC shows and they sounded great.

Also said a new album is on the way. Idk if that was news or not. Sounds like they'll support it on tour in Spring 2026.
