I'm always a little surprised at how highly people rank American Candy

But also I'm going to buy a copy as soon as a new pressing is available

2010-2015 I was checked out. Don't have any real feelings on those three. Was all the way back in seeing them on the American Candy tour.

 

Fingers crossed Covers, AC, and LLL are close behind.

Dyed vinyl, festival merch, AND Covers vinyl all go live tomorrow at 9am Pacific (1 hour before public) on Pillar!! Damn, becoming a member is immediately paying off. Not to mention both their 8123 Fest sets are now available to stream. Get on it, y’all.

 

If it sells out I’ll have a bone to pick with this band called the Maine. Just press your albums normally for once please.

 

At least press 8123 copies per record.

 

I won't be as upset with missing out on the Dyed or Covers vinyl, but PLEASE just make a standard black pressing of LLL and AC at last and press enough to cover a big order. It's beyond due. I don't even care about colored variants (as cool as they are.)

 

Pioneer vinyl is also in stock on pillar store if anyone needs that one too.

3 variants of Dyed available (cream, purple, blue) each limited to 500 units (purple only available in a bundle). Same with Covers (red pink, white, clear). For John the Ghost (translucent marble, bone, black) unit numbers vary.

Merch includes a cream, washed black, and blue crewneck; a means everything crewneck; a dyed longsleeve; camo hat; 8123 fest moto tee; Arizona aliens tee; cowgirl tee; dyed purple bundle comes with cowgirl tee and vinyl variant; light the match bundle comes with that tee and purple variant; dyed crewneck bundle comes with blue variant and blue crewneck; last dyed bundle includes cream variant and cream crewneck

 

will forever never understand this band and their leaving money on the table with their vinyl "strategy"

 

Well, I bit the bullet and got a Pillar membership so I didn't miss out on the Dyed and Covers vinyl. Got the blue Dyed and white Covers variant. I have a one-on-one with my manager @ 10AM, so it would've been a stressful start to the meeting if I was trying to snag these right when the meeting started.

Now if I can figure out a way to download these Vimeo livestreams to my Plex server, that'd be awesome. Can't grab a link to the vids directly, so that's a challenge.

EDIT: well that was easy. Found a Chrome plugin "Video DownloadHelper" and that allowed me to download what I wanted. For some reason 2025 fest Night 1 is 1080p but Night 2 is 4K. Hmm

 

I got that Blue Dyed variant, so happy to get this one on vinyl…

i like the John The Ghost record...but not sure if I like it enough for the $35. but also, it will never get pressed again...

 

Yup. $10 to prebuy the vinyl and download the streams made it easy to justify haha.
