The Maine - The Maine (August 1, 2023) Album • Page 47

  1. Fun record with quite a few standouts. It'd be cool to hear the original ideas, especially the oldest ones, considering these versions all have that modern The Maine touch

I like this infinitely more than the self-titled. Really fun and dynamic sounding. John’s got a nice touch for production.

just saw that on their story. Literally figured it’d be BW or ARTTM, was hoping for a surprise and that it’d be latter. Oh well, I’ll show up just before the Maine lol

I would definitely be curious to hear the source material but also I really like how it feels like a cohesive album rather than a collection of leftover songs

I thought the same. This outtakes album is better than what some bands release as actual albums, haha.

Why I Hate It Here is a BOP for me. Can’t get it out of my head. Reminds me of Bleachers…

just left night 2 of 8123 fest.

the community this band has built is wild. what a high energy, fun, show.

  11. Agreed - they’re always a good show, but that fest is something else. Always amazing to see how far they’ve come. Also made Mesa Amp sound amazing, which is a feat I’ve never seen accomplished in my 20 years of seeing shows there

It was a big bummer that very few people seemed to know of or care about The Starting Line songs that were not called The Best Of Me

I’d like to be the 17th person to say this little album has delighted me. Some of these songs are just so unbelievably catchy (as is their MO); Why I Hate It Here, Stray Dogs, and Until The High Wears Off are top tier Maine songs for me.

Eight Fingers Crossed reminds me of One Sunset so much.

Yeah, this thing is awesome. Really, the only thing they've done that I haven't absolutely adored since American Candy is XOXO, and I also like that plenty.

I think their self titled album is now a firm second favourite from me, behind the legendary LLL of course.

there are definitely at the very least a ton of copies of it leftover from 8123 fest that i saw with my own eyes. itll be up soon.

Same here. LLL and then Self-Titled in second place.

YAO will probably always be my favorite just cause it came out at the perfect time for me, but yeah LLL and self-titled definitely round out my top 3

Looks like there's a restock of the self titled album on vinyl on their merch store. Clear with smoke is sold out, but sea blue is still available. The shipping to Australia is brutal
