Love that they gave TSL's Direction some love. That record is so good. I'd argue that The Starting Line have the most natural progression of sound between each full length than most bands. Pushing themselves without ever really forgetting their core. I could go on but that's for another thread.
Apparently there is a new song floating around. Haven’t been able to locate it yet but have seen several people commenting on it on social media today. Edit: Looks like they posted it too early on their YouTube but some people were able to catch it
These guys are my favorite band right now, honestly really glad to hear that it actually is new music already
New song is apparently called Touch. Haven’t heard it but did see it described as “different” (which tracks with the other post)
Yeah, there's a screenshot floating around on Twitter. Caption of their latest post says "summer is so close you can almost touch it". There's a graphic where it appears they accidentally posted the entire premiere early on YouTube - I would assume it comes out next week. Colors and single cover are giving me more of a dancey-vibe which they've been leaning a bit more into the last few releases anyway.
The whole pink gradient thing is very similar to that blue gradient that was part of the AC aesthetic, so much so it doesn’t seem like a coincidence
I literally *just* left that Zia and was wondering what that van was doing out front, haha. Was not playing music when I went in, and I had headphones in when I left. None of the guys were in there but I did see Kyle Dehn walking around so should’ve known something was up
If they are sticking with their traditional rollout schedule I think we're going to have to wait a little longer for a full length
I’d hope it’s a new album but since sad summer is their last full US tour this year, it probably isn’t.
Sounds like the dance vibe I was expecting them to lean into, not sure i’ll love but will give it a full listen when it comes out
this band quickly became my favorite band. i agree with some of the sentiment. not sure they can do wrong with me right now. also, their marketing is incredible. the van playing the same song for hours? brilliant.
eh. they are changing their profile icons to a new set of colors, which they've done in the past for album cycles, etc.
After the very deliberate approach to album #9, i can't imagine they somehow squeezed recording time in between touring to announce an album less than a year from their last. And for album #10 nonetheless.
You’re telling me we’re entering another new album cycle and we still haven’t gotten the full version of Love In Real Time?
