I just absolutely adore this new album.

  3. Uh... Lovely Little Lonely is amazing. The layered, atmospheric production touches, the interludes linking the songs together, the hooks, everything... yeah this band is amazing. Two more albums before I can put this on!

I'm not afraid to say this is a perfect album. No notes.

Had my first late night, driving listen through of this album the other night, really shines in that mood/environment. Certainly my 2nd favorite album by a band called the maine

    favorite moments:
    opening of dose no. 2
All of how to exit a room
John’s countermelody in the last chorus of leave in five
Synths in cars and caution signs
    Lyrics of funny how
Guitar lead of thoughts i have while
The full band explosion and soaring vocal lines in the mood I’m in (crazy good vocals here)
I actually really LOVE spiraling, feels like the thesis of the whole record
    the minor interludes

things preventing this from being perfect imo

the weird moaning at the end of the lines in the chorus, even though I recognize that it makes sense from a songwriting standpoint as the melody plays into the bridge
cars and caution signs does actually go on for a little too long
wish spiraling was a little bit stronger of a song

Maybe one day I will be excited by the support they bring out. (I'm unfamiliar with all of these beyond having seen flor and daisy grenade names before so I'm not saying any of them are bad.)

Pumped I got surprised with flor. As much as I’ve cooled on them recently they put on a great show with tons of energy. Was hoping they’d bring the wldlf with them too.

finally listened to this last night… pretty awesome record. gotta listen more to really gauge how it stacks up, but I am inclined to say I like it more than XOXO at least, and I quite liked that record. (also I like Spiraling!)

  16. Aaah, flor is one of my favorite bands of the last few years. Such a great pairing. Would definitely recommend folks in here check them out if you're not familiar.

Damn the second night in NYC already sold out. Shame on me, guess I’ll monitor stubhub closer to showday.
Congrats to the boys, looks like a lot of the other cities also sold out quick

Los Angeles, Chicago, and Phoenix sold out as well. Toronto has a low ticket warning. I’ve never seen them sell shows out this quickly, it’s crazy!

San Diego, LA, both NY shows, Chicago, Toronto, first Phoenix show all sold out. Low tickets in Sacramento, Seattle, Boston, Nashville. Bigger venue in Columbus, second show added in Phoenix, show added in Anaheim.

Absolutely love to see it. Surprised they're not adding another Chicago show honestly
