The "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine" discourse got me thinking of The Maine's "Jenny". Crazy that they basically made a country song I actually like.

 

Also re: "funny how" it's a good song but did anyone else feel like it could have had a full bass and drums section to add some energy in the second half?

My fiancé said to add it to the list of possibilities for our first dance when she heard it

 

I like the b-sides off of Pioneer and Forever Halloween more than the actual albums. I feel in both cases they tried a little too hard to have a cohesive sound to the album and left out better songs that didn’t sonically fit with the rest.

 

B sides of pioneer are great. Few of them at least

 

i love "spiraling"

but my fave is def "thoughts i have while lying in bed"

 

I think when that first pre chorus kicks in on thoughts is my fave part of the album. What a groove.
