Pretty good set list. I personally would only change out a few songs.

I can imagine there will be some sort of Fall tour just based on their touring history

If anyone's interested The Masquerade is having a pop up shop for the Atlanta date on 4/7 where you can buy a ticket/cd for $30

I wish they were playing Everything I Ask For. The way they play it live is amazing.

    music is all we got

I'm so excited for this tour, and the setlist is amazing, no real complaints from me. I'm hoping they'll be selling the album by the Portland or Seattle dates but idk, the fact that they aren't already selling it is weird.

Same, that post-chorus riff is so groovy.

Here's a recap from the first night of tour last night!

My band was fortunate enough to open the show so we arrived at the venue around 3:00pm and caught The Maine's soundcheck. If you guys haven't looked at their production for this show, don't spoil it for yourself. It's one of the coolest sets I've ever seen. We got to hear Do You Remember for the first time ever at soundcheck which was pretty freakin sweet. The Mowgli's soundchecked next and none of their stuff seemed to work properly. They also HELLA backtrack. That song "I'm Good" is mostly backtracked but they still sounded solid.

Doors opened at about 6:30pm and my band, 1000 Miles of Fire, went on about 6:50pm. Since we're the only local on the tour, they had to squeeze us into the schedule without affecting the regular tour set times. Somehow, they managed to get a good 600ish people in there before we started and they were super enthusiastic. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever played.

Beach Weather went on right after us and had a great crowd! A lot of people seemed to know their stuff and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there (despite having about 1 square foot of space to move around). I didn't catch their full set or setlist because I was loading out during the first part of their set.

The Mowgli's were up next and they sounded good, but played for quite a while. Almost to the point where more than a few people forgot there was another band after them. The singer's guitar wasn't working at all and they had to play around a TON of technical difficulties. Despite that, the set was fun, the crowd was engaged and it seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves.

The Maine came on about 9:20pm and played an incredible set to say the least. I can't remember the last time I saw a crowd go this wild and sing that loud (other than 8123 fest). Opening with Black Butterflies was the most incredible experience and it really set the tone for the rest of the night. As the night went on, the crowd just got crazier and crazier. Crowdsurfers, some light moshing (weird right?), tons of finger pointing, the whole nine yards. The Maine looked absolutely stoked and ecstatic to be there and John was on fire with the banter and jokes. The entire set was perfect and they even stayed after hanging around with fans outside the venue til about 1am.

If you're on the fence about going, then go. I brought a few friends who had never seen (or heard of in some cases) The Maine and they said it was the best show they had been to in a very long time.

I don't follow them all that closely but I thought it was one of their most popular songs.

Went tonight and for sure one of the better sets I've seen them play in recent years.

They did say they'd be back in the fall so hopefully that happens.

Can anyone tell me how much this shirt costs? I can't go to the show but a friend is gonna get it for me and I want to make sure they have the right amount of money.

Looking for two tickets to NYC! I wasn't sure if I could go in general with work but I just found out a day or two ago that I can, and of course the show sold out. If anyone has an extra (or knows someone who does) I'd appreciate if you sent them my way, thanks!

I didn't realize the Chicago show sold out. There is a BOGO deal for the Milwaukee show.
