Always excited for more music from them — but can't help but be disappointed to see them continue to do stuff with All Time Low.
There are other artists out there whose associations I completely hold them accountable for (ex. Underoath supporting Ronnie Radke), but this one is a stretch for me. The All Time Low situation is not the same. They took legal recourse against the unknown accusers, and while I 100% believe members of that band are guilty and stopped listening to them, I can imagine they've spun one heck of a tale for their friends, band peers, and families. From what I heard 2 of the 3 accusers retracted their statements. I still fully believe that band has committed SA against their fans, and it sucks they weren't held accountable and possibly messed up the opportunity for other victims to come forward after what happened in this case.
I love this band and can't wait for this album to release. There was some really promising stuff in those videos. They have been on fire.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Someone should do a case study on The Maine and how they conduct their business and overall brand. They have damn near perfected it and while I don't have any figures/facts to support my claim - I would have to believe they have make significantly more money compared to similar sized bands because of how they keep everything in house. It's pretty remarkable how they've kept it up. If I were a kid wanting to start a band I would look at their blueprint and try my best to recreate it step for step.
