    The Maine’s Twitter account has been banned after the band set the birthday to the date of the band’s formation, which makes it not 13 years old and therefore against the site’s policy.


    Yo @twitter you asked for a birthdate for our bands twitter account (@themaine) and now we’re banned for life? Can we not do that please? Also why do you need that info? Y’all bein sneaky over there can I get a human adult on the line

    In the current climate, this had me a little terrified. Then it turned into awesomeness. I work on kid's entertainment products so this will probably become a story around the office.
