The Maine have announced a new tour.

After releasing their highly anticipated self-titled album, The Maine will be heading out on “The Sweet Sixteen Tour”, supporting the new music, playing some favorites and deep cuts from past albums and celebrating sixteen incredible years as a band. To commemorate this anniversary, the tour will kick off in San Diego, CA on November 10th and run through mid-December hitting Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and more before performing in Phoenix, AZ in January and Mexico City in March.

The Maine shares “We’re always so focused on the future that we rarely look back. The Sweet 16 Tour is not only a celebration of our self-titled album, but a salute to the last 16 years of our band, with a career-spanning set featuring songs from every chapter of The Maine. No matter if you’ve been here for 16 years or 16 days, we can’t wait to see you in the fall”.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 11th at 10a local time along with the announcement of supporting bands. However, fans can get early access to tickets via Pillar pre-sale on Tuesday, August 8th at 3p ET, Spotify Fans First pre-sale on August 9th at 10a local time, and 8123 Priority tickets will be available Thursday, August 10th at 1p ET. For more details, visit the official band website at www.themaineband.com.

After building up to the album release through teasing cryptic posts across social media, following the evolution of the band through highlights and throwbacks from each previous album’s era, The Maine’s new album The Maine (self-titled) is out now via 8123 and Photo Finish Records.

The album’s release date can also be written as 8.1.23. The significance of the date is a once in a lifetime alignment of numbers that hold a lot of meaning to the band. Originally, 8123 were the numbers on a parking garage where the band members and childhood friends would hangout growing up. Fast forward to today, and 8123 has been used in their song lyrics, is the title of their own music festival held in their desert hometown biennially, can be seen inked onto many of their fans, is the title of their own record label and also serves as the fanbase's nickname - the 8123 Family.

The Maine celebrated the album’s release day with their fans in Denver for 8123 Day where they headlined the Fillmore Auditorium with support from former tourmates Real Friends and Knuckle Puck. Fans were also virtually a part of 8123 Day, which live streamed on YouTube. The Maine will also be hosting a free signing at Zia Records today, August 7th, in Tempe, Arizona.

Sad that they're skipping Dallas. Will have to contemplate Tulsa or Houston.
