I was hoping for longer sets from 3oh3, The Summer Set, and State Champs but it's still gonna be a blast

Just a heads up, The Van Buren requires printed proof of vax/negative test or the original copy of your vaccine card. No digital copies will be allowed.

    A few small things:

    - Empty water bottles and small snacks will be allowed in on Saturday. They’ll have a water refill station.
    - They’ll be selling limited edition Nalgene brand water bottles in partnership with the nonprofit, Reverb. They should be $20 (I volunteer with Reverb a lot and that’s what they usually sell for).
    - Friday’s xoxo show second set will have 7-8 songs. Garrett mentioned on Pillar they’re deep cuts and one of them is a cover song.
    - Food truck list for Saturday should be up in the next few days.

Once again, you're an absolute saint thanks so much. Derek Sanders will be in town, it would be dope to see their cover of Steal My Sunshine. When you went in the past I'm assuming the members of The Maine were out & about at the pop ups & what not all weekend? In 2009 I got MSBDRMN (must be dreaming) on my license plate & I want to give it to them

I’m thinking either the cover with Derek or the one with The Technicolors since they’re opening the show.

Last Fest I only saw them at the meet and greet and then at the pop up Sunday night as it was closing. I know people who saw them throughout the weekend, so it’s possible too run into them at any point.

So it's a seltzer now and not a cider. Interesting change

In case anyone missed it on 8123 Instagram stories, there’ll be a clear vinyl variant of XOXO available at the pop up shop. Sounded like that was going to be the only vinyl available.

I'm usually not a huge fan of them, but I really really want them to release a boxset. So much of their discography was super limited & impossible to buy secondhand. I've been talking myself down from buying the Stay Up, Get Down EP for $45 for a month now haha

I’ve seen Pat talk about them repressing most of their vinyl at some point. He’s said the only one they’ll have issues with is Black & White since it’s owned by Warner Brothers.

Can’t wait for this weekend! My first 8123 Fest as I just moved to Phoenix last year.

I’ll be attending The Maine show Friday, 8123 Fest and the MAEA afterparty Saturday, as well as The Summer Set Sunday.

Fully expecting to sleep Monday away.

I'm at Beach Weather Thursday, Friday for the Maine, the fest and Saturday after-party, the Summer Set on Sunday, then I'm renting a car and going out yo the grand canyon on Monday before I fly back home Tuesday morning. I'll sleep when I die lol

Last minute decision, I’ll be at Beach Weather as well. Then Friday show and after party, fest, the Harry Styles night, and then The Summer Set on Sunday. I’m going to be exhausted but it’ll be so worth it.

I'm still debating the Friday after-party, it'll be a last second decision I think

Honestly if you’re doing Saturday, it’ll be pretty close to the same thing. Saturday could potentially have more special guests since it’s fest day. I’m just glad Ted Lavender is doing both cause I’ve never had more fun at an emo nite type thing than I did at last fest during his set.

I'm flying in tomorrow from Michigan. Flight leaves at 8:50 PM EST, getting in around 11:30 PM MST. Friday I'm going to In N Out for the first time, going to the Phoenix Botanical Gardens, then doing the headliner. Saturday I need to watch a movie for Sundance, and then I might squeeze in the art museum if I have time before going to the Fest at 4. On Sunday I'm flying home around 4:30 PM MST.

They’re doing a special menu with a pizza place near The Van Buren.

That sounds like quite the trip! Before you go to In N Out I have to say, please do not expect the best burger you’ve ever had. I’m from WI and anytime I have friends or family visit they always say it’s overrated after they try it. In N Out, in my opinion, is in a league of their own not solely due to the food itself, but because of all you can get + the quality of the food for the price.

In N Out rant aside, I’m tempted to try as much of the custom food & drinks they have created this weekend. This is my first 8123 so I’m unsure, is this something they’ve always done? If so, any recommendations? The Maine have certainly curated a unique weekend.

Last fest they had the speciality cocktails but that was it. I’m so glad to see so much more going on this fest.
