I love the song. I’m not the type to bring up production but it’s a little obvious John’s voice is low in the mix. That’s my only gripe. I love the goddamn song though and can’t wait for the full album.

 

Agreed on the vocals being low - surely someone would have spotted that ?!

 

It seems intentional. It’s something I noticed on the other two singles as well.

The vox are maybe a little low, but it's nothing like the last starting line album... I've enjoyed all 3 songs as well. I love how this band can manage to seemingly reinvent themselves with each record and find a way to pull it off
