I was really hoping they would cover the albums on the podcast too, I'm so stoked I have such intense nostalgia for Incredibad particularly but they're all great
The medley actually made me kind of emotional lmao I literally grew up with these guys and it's been so cool seeing them get their flowers lately
Ripped a j tonight and rewatched Popstar for probably the 5th time. Forgot Maximus had “soggy bones syndrome” and what ruined Conner was the mangina. Both made me laugh until I was crying. What an absolutely perfect comedy movie.
We've talked about it a bit in here but their podcast has honestly probably climbed to the all-time top of the list of podcasts I've ever followed. I literally actively look forward to my Tuesday work commute every week because I love it so much
I wasn’t aware they had a podcast. Is there a specific topic on there or they just talk about whatever?
It's them and Seth Meyers discussing each SNL digital short they ever did, plus episodes on other projects like their albums and Hot Rod and MacGruber. Each episode is dedicated to one short or project, but lots of getting sidetracked and running jokes too It's hilarious and extremely interesting too
This week had me laughing out loud, as most episodes do. They joke a ton about how much Andy hates podcasting, but I do appreciate how they actually do the thing they said they would. Yeah, there’s running jokes and they get off-topic sometimes, but at the end of the day you get a ton of fun stories and cool factoids.
It helps that Seth is the anchor of the podcast and knows how to keep everyone in line. Like, truly one of those recap podcasts that is light and fun without feeling like hosts are being forced to do it for ad dollars or to start their own cell phone company.
I’ve always had respect for Seth, but the podcast tripled it. I love the brilliance of his comedic mind, both in terms of banter on the pod and in talking about the old sketches. It makes it so obvious why he was a head writer of a comedy institution.
Nobody actually answered you haha but it's on all of the normal podcast avenues and also on The Lonely Island Youtube channel
Agree 100%, I've always really really liked him but this podcast has made me realize how fucking hilarious he actually is
