reeeeeeally good podcast, that
it's going to be impossible to choose a cover
assuming they haven't announced the opener for New York because it's gonna be someone big like Mulaney
I would die
Show was ridiculously good. Almost crazy how well rehearsed and produced it was, puts a lot of real bands to shame.
The way the crowd reacted to the pop star cuts makes me think they should have played more of them (and that they could have made a ton of money doing a popstar tour last year when it finally started gaining a following)
The bash brothers cuts got a lot of love too. Some jokes were tailored to the city, expect that to be the same throughout the tour. Example in spoiler below in case you don’t wanna know
Joe Montana Rap got changed to Troy Aikman outfit and lyrics
Conner4Real should have opened the tour
I hope Hunter The Hungry shows up at at least one show
Same setlist as that one a few days ago? That one was technically a warmup so I'm curious if anything changed for the full show
No changes except we didn’t get the second encore (incredibad)
Chris Parmell seems to be on the road with them, as he popped up for lazy Sunday for both shows so far.
Also Popstar vinyl now up in their store! I got the Donkey Roll cover!!
Did the Connquest one not go up or did it just sell out?
Just found and ordered the Hot Rod soundtrack as well!
This is frustrating. The site keeps having to reload.
Update: connquest going on sale later, guessing it is sort of a tour exclusive right now.
My birthday is in a week, will someone buy me the Standing In Front of Tall Buildings cover?
Damn, this arrived fast! Ordered it Friday afternoon and shows up on my doorstep today. Also posting another comedy movie soundtrack I ordered. Too bad it’s not the extended version that I bought on iTunes. Kudos to Bull Moose for fast shipping
I was right next to my Alexa when I watched this clip. Then my Alexa played "I just Had Sex". Shit got real meta.
My show is tomorrow!!
Honestly the most excited for a show I've been in a really long time lol
The show was absolutely everything I'd ever hoped a Lonely Island show would be. Absolutely hilarious new stuff
the new Laser Cats bit destroyed me, amazing production/set design (was really impressed how well run the show was, they nailed every cue and it seemed really well-rehearsed), and of course the music was phenomenal as always, they played all the hits and threw in some great deep cuts like
Semicolon, Diaper Money, Boombox, etc.. Really felt like a perfect mix of a comedy show and a full on concert
Easily one of the most fun shows I've ever been to
When did they come on? I'm running super late from work.
My show was supposed to start at 8 but the opening comedian went on at 8:20, Lonely island came on around 8:50. I think it was the same in LA
anyone else in here gonna be at the NYC show on Friday?
