For The First Time In Forever (Reprise)

This is a pretty difficult one to rank. It occurs at a pivotal part of the movie where Anna is visiting Elsa at the ice palace and the song is basically a conversation between the two sisters.

I'll give this a 7.5/10 because I don't think it should be ranked above Do You Want To Build A Snowman? and Love Is An Open Door. Also, let's be honest, if I'm going to listen to For The First Time In Forever I'm not going to listen to the reprise.

 

Fixer Upper

This is another fun song that I'd compare in some ways to In Summer. While In Summer focuses on Olaf, Fixer Upper focuses on Kristoff and this scene gives us some insight on his backstory.

My favorite part of this song is the line "his thing with the reindeer that's a little outside of nature's laws"

This is a family website, so I don't want to say much more.

This gets a 7/10 from me. A solid song, but not one that I return to often.

 

Let It Go (Single Version)

This is played in the closing credits, so I consider this more of a bonus track.

This version is by Demi Lovato and I think it's really good.

It's really not too different until around the bridge at 2:25. All in all, a solid vocal performance of an awesome song.

I'll give this a 9/10 because I prefer the Idina Menzel version and it doesn't pack quite the emotional punch as the original since this single version occurs in the credits.

After I get a couple Frozen 2 viewings under my belt I'll be back with some of my thoughts.
