I enjoyed it! I thought that Richard Dreyfuss was the best part of the movie. I liked how pretty much all of the scenes in the water had a sense of dread with the feeling that something could go wrong at any time. There were a couple fake outs and jump scares, but that just added to the suspense a bit. I think it held up pretty well for a 44 year old movie. I know it came out prior to the PG-13 rating, but it’s pretty wild to me that this has the same movie rating as Frozen and Moana. Guess I know what movie I’m showing the kids next...
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever fast forwarded through any movie ever (at least not when I’m watching for the first time)
I did the the final act lasted a bit longer than necessary. That probably could’ve been trimmed by 10 or 15 minutes without changing the movie much.
2 hours and 19 minutes passed between you making these posts... yet only 2 hours 2 minutes and 18 seconds elapsed in the movie why is there an excess of 16 minutes and 42 seconds, bachna? scandal? jawsgate is real
i paused it a couple times to send a couple texts, check some scores, and empty my 34 year old bladder. no scandal!
i'll let you off with a warning this time, but there better not be any discrepancies like this when you watch jaws 2, jaws 3, and jaws 4 or you're going to be in trouble
This is awesome to hear. I’m glad you liked it, like I said it’s my favorite movie. The cinematography and cast and writing of that movie, it’s just all done so well. Also I still get chills during the the US Indianapolis speech
@littlejohn I think we need a Gatsbys bracket. Why We Fight Ribbons & Sugar In the Land of Lost Monsters Volcano Self-Titled B-sides and rarities
there’s enough content in this thread that there really isn’t a need to post much original content again
