When my account loses my brother's student discount I'll create a new account with my wife's.

 

Weird, although I didn't sign up until my last semester, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I did the prime + Spotify/Hulu/Showtime so I will be sad when that eventually ends.

 

There's ways around some of the limits btw.

yup. My family hopped on my plan so they can save some money lol. It also is perfect timing for Showtime with Desus and Mero coming back.

I get Hulu free with my Sprint plan. That’s the only free/discounted service I get since all my student privileges ran out a few years ago

 

As long as your email is a lifetime account, you can continue to get $5 Apple Music.

 

There are ways to get .edu email address without being an actual student

 

my mom works at Fresno State and she gets a edu email but doesn’t want to use it for discounts.

 

It's not quite as cheap, but for Apple Music you can get a discounted iTunes gift card (Costco has them fairly regularly for $85-$90 for a $100 gift card) and sign up for an annual plan ($99). You have to pay all at once, but it comes out to ~$7-7.50/month instead of $10/month.

 

There are also ways to verify student status other than just a .edu email address.

Yeah amazon doesn't just use a .edu (anymore) but I'm pretty sure hulu+Spotify deal does.
