I was just telling someone last night about this podcast I was listening awhile back where they were interviewing this black dude from NorCal and when he went to college he thought it would be funny to put on a Ugandan accent and pretend he was from Uganda. After a couple weeks of this he felt he had gone too far to back out and ended up keeping this whole persona for like a year or something lol. He even started dating someone and that was when he finally decided that he should reveal that he was from California haha. It was pretty damn hilarious and really insightful, actually. I forget what podcast it was though. This American Life or something like that
