The Twilight Sad is my first "please everyone listen to this" record of 2019. It reminds me of the music of the Cure, with a Scottish Morrissey as the singer, with a little post-punk thrown in.

I almost @ you because I know you're a fan of The Cure and The Smiths (my two favorite 80's bands mixed together in a blender is heavenly)

 

I'm impressed with how you know me so well.

 

First new album of the day for me is Frances Cone - Late Riser. Indie rock with female vocals.

 

I really like this James Blake album. Not what I expected at all. I love it when I don't know a band or artist and you all tell me to listen...Its like a box of chocolates...never know what I'm going to get.

 

So I’m legit on bed rest with this ankle problem since I can no longer put any weight on it. Really hate going to the doctor but I don’t think I can avoid it this time. At least it happened now because with MLK day I’m getting a 4 day weekend.

 

Keep it elevated and ice it for 20 min every hour.
