I was a little nervous when it was first announced, but the trailers look as amusing as the LEGO Movie was, so now it's a long wait until 2017.

Batman is the best part of The Lego Movie.

This will likely cement the Lego Batman as my favorite onscreen representation of the character, and the Lego Movie already "deconstructed" Batman better than Batman v. Superman did, despite Snyder's claim that a deconstruction was what he was attempting.

 

So very excited for this. The trailer looks fantastic and lots of fun.

 

When I first heard about the rumors that this was happening, I thought it felt kinda shark-jump-y. I'm so very glad that all this evidence is proving me so very, very wrong. I cannot wait.

I'm so ready for this. I really love the more comedic route superhero movies are starting to take. I'm usually not into them because there's so little humor.
