I've never seen The Maze Runner films, are they bad?

I didn’t like the first one, never saw the second. It’s also the writer of the Jurassic World movies which are awful

Hyrule, Middle Earth, Pandora. New Zealand can do it all.

    Iceland works too.

yeah Nintendo doesn't want anyone who won't toe the line and try to do something interesting. it's an ad for their games

so you get the milquetoast franchise guys

They learned that lesson from the early 90's Mario movie when that director had his own whole ass vision for something that didn't vibe with tone of Mario at all.

I think I’ve seen all the maze runner movies and don’t remember anything except the maze from the first one.

That writer was let go in June and replaced by T.S. Lowlin. A writer that collabs with Wes pretty often

I like the look of the photos. Very LOTR vibes which is what I wanted. Nice to see Zelda with arrows also. I’m guessing she’ll be more action oriented.

Skull Island is the best of the last 15 years of godzilla/kong stuff

I am more concerned by the Jurassic World writer than I am by the director

hard to pin any issues with a big blockbuster script on any one person - there's usually so many people with their hands all over those and then credits get doled out via arbitration

That writer was let go in June. Some of his script may still be in the film, but he was replaced by T.S. Lowlin. He wrote the maze runner films with Wes. I’ve never seen them so idk how the writing was.

They should have just done animated

I think animated with Toon Link would be cool with illumination if they ever want to build to a smash bros film. Live action with the New Zealand landscapes of Hyrule beats any animated mountains and hills though

hard pass on Illumination doing animated Zelda, tbh

I’d only want illumination to do so it could be a shared world with Mario. Zelda is an IP that I greatly prefer to see as live action in every other scenario

From DanielRPK so take it with a groan of salt since it’s not about a trailer, but this would make sense. Have Ganon be the villain of the first film. Second film be Vaati or whoever. Third film Ganon returns as Ganondorf. But just 1 long story split into 3 parts.

    A perfect typo, pristine brilliance.
