That's what's awesome about it though! You can choose to not use them, and I can choose to use them. It's a win-win for everybody
Screw the way points, just grab a cute horse and ride Tbh the map doesn’t even feel that big when exploring. I saw it was eight times the size of the Link’s Awakening map but I don’t believe it. It’s certainly not small, but it doesn’t feel that big.
Also curious what everyone’s most used item is so far? Mine is easily the bed. Not for rest reasons (shoutout to Zelda’s bed) but to reach places high and far.
8 times bigger? This felt either similar or even smaller. I used a horse for about 30 seconds outside of the races at the ranch.
Beds were huge until I got the platform thing and the cloud. Beyond that it depends on who I’m fighting. But some of the main crew were crows, elemental keese, wizrobes, shark, lizalfos, spear moblins. Thr flying tile is super helpful, too.
Agree, kind of strange. Oops, the new Zelda game is "8 times the size" of Link's Awakening because Nintendo and Echoes of Wisdom devs just couldn't help themselves
I'm looking at the map and I can believe it. I don't think you guys realize how small Link's Awakening's map is when you're actually looking at it.
I'm loving this game, totally smitten. I really enjoy the way it flows, it's like stumbling into one little puzzle after another. I know this is a weird comparison, but battle reminds me of Ni No Kuni a little bit, but better lol
So far I'd rank the dungeons 1) desert dungeon (big shock because the desert dungeons in the past games have been my least favorite) 2) First hyrule castle dungeon. Or only hyrule castle dungeon? Idk if it comes back or not later on 3) River dungeon 4) Lanayru dungeon. That thing was annoying I've also been leveling up the energy bar for the sword before anything else.
I think there are too many echoes to fit on a screen like that. Which is why, I assume, they allow you to select an echo in the pause menu.
How so? Each row is just like the single row you have now, just with much shorter lists. You would still be able to scroll left and right on each row.
