Figured this game deserved it's own thread to place our hopes and dreams.
Release date: September 26th, 2024.

Was it confirmed that you can use the tri rod to duplicate monsters and have them fight? I only saw items being duplicated

 

You didn't watch the whole trailer then cause Zelda totally had a plant eat a guy.

I haven't picked up my Switch in awhile. So excited for this. I did not expect a new Zelda game this year.

 

Sorry but it’s actually a new Link game. A lot of people mix them up though so don’t sweat it.

Link's Awakening is one of my favorite Zelda games. This looks like a great time and I can't wait for it to be released.

Limiting the direct usage of a sword is actually kind of genius.

 

Absolutely. It still allows Zelda to be a fighter but give the emphasis to her other abilities primarily. I know some people were bummed she wouldn’t fight herself, this should make them happy.

 

It's bugging me how this isn't on Amazon yet.

 

Recent Switch games haven’t been available to pre order at all on Amazon and only show up on the day of release

 

Just finished the first proper dungeon and all my worries are out the window, this is incredible.

 

I gotta wait until tomorrow. But I’m excited to jump in to Hyrule again.

 

Beat the first dungeon as well. I’m enjoying it so far. The boss was extremely easy.

Having so much fun with this so far, love how much it opens up after the first dungeon. So far I’ve found the ranch, and stumbled upon Kakariko Village, and just doing a bunch of side quests before even heading in the direction of the two story map markers. It’s obvious they took a lot of inspiration from BOTW/TOTK and thought about how to adapt those ideas into a more traditional 2D Zelda game.
