Did one late last night where you have to shield surf through all the rings and after I got through that and the shrine opened it was one that took all your equipment and I was like nope not happening right now.

I got stuck on a shrine on my last play and just stopped mid shrine. If I can’t figure it out quickly, I’m googling it.

I’ve avoided googling anything. Although I have gotten some good tips from this thread.

The only shrine that irritated me was the sneak strike one. It’s so incredibly simple but the robot has to be looking EXACTLY straight ahead. It was so unnecessarily frustrating.

The hardest proving ground shrine for me so far was "Flow", it took me so long to figure out I could just use Ultrahand to shake the boats and knock the Constructs in the water.

Even doing that though the Construct in the very center platform would still kill me whenever I got close. I only beat him when I switched it up and just slowly took him out with Fused arrows from afar.

That one was tough, but I had more trouble with the one that uses those little homing carts. There were so many constructs that you can’t even really get enough space to attach shit to them.

The one where you could swoop into the middle cube and build a giant death machine cart was fun

You guys are speaking of shrines that sound like fever dreams to me.

The mine cart track one was my favorite. Felt like a genius solving it.

I’ve hardly utilized this at all. He’s basically always too far away from me during fights, but then he’ll get too close to me while I’m trying to pick up items and I’ll accidentally trigger it lol. The spirits themselves are still nice to help you fight though.

I am happy to report that I took down the goddamn Obsidian Frox. It only took using Defense Up, Attack Up, plus 34 hearts in addition to my existing 13, 1 heal in addition. What a rush though. If anyone has any tips for defeating Lynels please let me know because they are my ultimate nemesis.

2 temples down, they’re more fun than the beasts but the dynamic of just solving 4 or 5 little puzzles to unlock the boss is completely the same.

One thing I've been doing that I thought I'd share with the thread is that if I have a really good attachment like a rare talus, igneo talus, or colgera jaw then I stop using the weapon when it flashes red, bring it to the Goron separator buddy in Tarrey town and have him separate then attach to a new weapon. I have some awesome attachments for all my weapons.

This is basically all the sage powers in a nutshell for me. Useful, but mostly in the way.

found my way through the Lost Woods for the most part and knocked out a couple of shrines there, got access to the second great fairy and upgraded my Soldier greaves twice for some decent defensive stats. 16 hearts and almost 80 shrines done and still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.

I repeatedly have issues with accidentally activating sages and either blowing items away or sending a giant flaming bowling ball across the landscape.
