Not being able to skip through dialog is brutal. I’ve died during a boss fight a few times and have had to click through the dialog before the fight EVERY TIME. Odd they carried that over from BotW. My only gripe so far

I regret that I've been so exhausted after work these last two days that I haven't played this at all. :(

 

Phantom Ganon in the deku chasm is just cruelty. i cant fuckin dodge anything in this tight of a space.

Small Ant annoys the shit out of me but he is undoubtedly talented, I'll have to check it out

 

I really only watch his Nuzlocke stuff and never any live streams haha but yeah I can get that he’s a bit annoying for some

 

Pointcrow is pretty good, QuinBoBin is just outright charming and funny even if he isn't a professional player by any means

It's funny reading the LOZ subreddits that seem obsessed about the timeline/canon of the overall series and how TOTK fits into it. Like I know Nintendo released that silly timeline years ago, but it couldn't be more clear to me that that kind of stuff has only ever been a passing concern for the game developers.

 

Yeah they really don’t care. Nintendo mostly doesn’t care about stories in general. That’s not their (as in most of their biggest people) philosophy of what games are.

 

I agree they don't care, but I did like the fan theory that the timeline is a loop and this game could have set up for the SS islands and Demise's return

 

The Eventide Island stuff in this is so much funner than the botw's.

 

Also nice surprise in that Eventide Island Depths Midna's helmet which has an anti-Gloom perk

 

yeah i got that last night, has actually helped out a lot when wearing it with the armor of the depths

 

i haven't taken mine off since I got it

 

also that gauntlet to unlock the chest had me panicking and breaking all my weapons

 

Ha this is pretty great. Any time I can possibly utilize nearby water, I pretty much always shoot these guys with ice fruit/ice chuchus and then gently push them in.

 

I just Muddle Budded the fuck out of everyone lol

 

Muddle Bud is one of my favorite items.
