oops I haven't upgraded the battery and i'm 50 hours in

 

upgrading batteries is a must, it's the only way I was able to get to the NE labyrinth in the sky

or I just suck

 

i made it there yesterday but it was quite the trip lol. I glided from a skytower to a smaller sky island, autobuilt a balloon and flew to a floating rock, then took another balloon with a rocket attached straight up into the labyrinth, then climbed the rest of the way up. whatever works!

 

Can't find Hestu for the life of me. Looked up his exact location and still.

 

I found Hestu in front of a skyview tower, cowering in fear at some trees attacking him

 

I just realized the beds at Lookout Landing are free. It is my go to spot to heal up now.

 

There’s also a shrine that has no less than a billion apples outside of it

 

I ran into the armored Gloom Lynel in the depths. I almost shit myself.

 

Doing the misko treasure hunt for new armor. I’m in love with my new slutty barbarian crop top.

You talking about a spot on satori mountain? If so, I’ve been there and got like 20 golden apples and 200+ regular apples while commuting mass deforestation

 

I promptly ran away with my measly 8 stars and my inability to recall at that moment how to beat them

 

I haven't tried yet but apparently you can use ultrahand to stick a bunch of apples together, press autobuild in the trees, and then B to drop all of the apples for retrieval

 

I have seen that but I haven’t acquired the autobuild ability yet

 

I got there with one battery and a glider from some island. It was kind of a coincidence though lol

 

there's also a house in Hateno with a free bed, so those are the only two places I sleep

 

imagine not having 20 rupees, oh the poors

 

Man home ownership is 'spensive in this game haha

 

I just found these devil horns in a cave outside Goron city, hell yeah

I think I got killed by one but it was too dark to really see and I'd been exploring without any lights in my inventory and just a glow potion. Anytime I see an enemy I can't beat yet I mark it with a Skull on the map because at some point I will come back and have my revenge.

I've got probably 3/4 of the depths mapped at this point. Goal is to knock the rest out this weekend.

 

I am at 4 and 1/3rds battery now. I think I am just going to try to get the max of 8 asap so I can start just hoarding Zonaite for autobuilds. So 3 and 2/3rds to go.

Might try to finish the Yiga Clan Depths questline just because I know I will accumulated tons of Zonaite/Crystals in the process

 

you can actually get 16 full batteries - once you get 8 full green ones, subsequent ones turn the green batteries blue

 

Oh fuck I got work to do then lol

 

One of the first things I did with duping is buy all of the compendium images from Robbie. I love a good bestiary/encyclopedia to browse in game at will.
