I hadn’t even figured out yet how to get additional batteries yet. I’ve spent a lot of time down there but haven’t come across anything yet to do just that - besides the 1200 zonal and accompanying charges.

 

I haven’t done any dungeons yet and honestly hearing that they are more like traditional dungeons is keeping me from doing them, I don’t want to leave the sandbox for that long

 

You just need to take those to vendors

 

I came across one when I get Autobuild but don’t remember exactly where that was and also I think he was just selling, not trading. I’m sure I missed something though.

 

You have been introduced to both types of vendors in the tutorial area (unless you somehow managed to miss them, but that’s pretty hard to do) where you can still find them (as well as other places).

 

There's one just outside of lookout landing to the northeast on an elevated platform, that's where I go to trade mine at least

That's something I must have missed because I have no fucking idea what those are good for, but I had an N64 as I kid, I know how to mass-collect seemingly useless things on the ground in games

I’m only maybe 15 hours in (which is nothing for a game like this, but longer than many AAA games) but I can already tell this is one of the best games I’ve ever played.

 

nice. That’s where I go to pray and see Hestu anyhow.

 

Yeah fast travel to the abandoned central mine in the depths get the crystals, and then fast travel to the refinery in Lookout Landing to exchange them for more battery power.

 

I have the Wind and Water Temples down, as well as most of the towers and a ton of shrines done now. Really, I'm trying to pause that stuff to knock out some of the other aspects of the game at a consistent pace along with the main story (upgrading armor, doing side quests, updating the pad, exploring the depths and the sky, etc.) Made the mistake early on of getting way too ahead of myself lol

 

I hate these shrines that are hidden in caves, wandering all over a damn mountain just to find a hole

 

get a load of this guy having trouble finding the hole

here i am thrilled to have put a fan on a plank of wood to get across the ocean to eventide

 

I still have trouble successfully getting a wing with a fan attached off a cliff with me still on it. It's laughably bad. I almost HAVE to have the dummy tracks. One time while using the recall function trying to get it in the air away from the cliff to be able to glide I fell off because it was at too steep of an angle and as I'm falling next to it wondering what happened I'm able to catch onto it mid air just to climb around the top while it flapped around and still fell to my death. I need to be able to upload some blueprints and just use autobuild on any stack of materials.

 

In one shrine I put planks on tires to make a paddleboat and that's the height of my engineering capacity.

The rocket is so much better than the fan, idk why they always scatter fans around those wings for you to use instead. I was doing one of those korok things earlier though and they had both available, I was so relieved lol

 

I don't think I've used one yet. I only have a couple in my inventory because for some reason I'm not getting them in exchange like the other zonai materials. Maybe I can get more of those once I start upgrading the battery?
