Holy shit

 

Water Temple done. 3 down. I think I'm gonna take a long break from the main story stuff to grind in the Depths/Shrines and do some side quest stuff before I head to the Gerudo Desert.

 

Yeah I just got done with the Water Temple boss and I was screaming "Sidon why the fuck are you all the way over there?"

 

Fire Temple down. Starting to see what people dislike about how the sages operate, as it was a challenge to get Yunobo to be close enough to me to activate his power. I don't get why they didn't just assign the sages to the wheel like everything else. Seems like a weird decision.

 

There was one point in the Water Temple I got into a room using Ascend, and I figured out the puzzle and unlocked the faucet..just to realize Sidon wasn't there for me to use his power to activate it because I didn't get I to the room the correct way. I had to go all the way around and get into the room the way the game wanted me to for Sidon to follow me.

 

I just now realized when you beat a temple, NPCs from that region's race show up at Lookout Landing. That is so cool.

 

The best things this game has implemented compared to BotW (aside from building) are things that remind me of Majora’s Mask

 

Man, I really want to play this game but I don’t have a Switch haha.

 

I did, but I prefer the consistency and polish of playing on Switch.

they did somewhat update the specs though, memory is new/faster.
I guess we’ll never know why the Switch Pro didn’t materialize, but I’m thinking it was a supply chain issue more than anything.

 

Oh shit! Just stumbled upon this after a tough battle

 

I was just thinking about this last week. Feels like BotW is the modern day Ocarina, while TotK is the modern day majora. Time travel and everything.

 

I mostly meant how the NPCs exist in the world etc. but yes

 

How the hell do you use zonai charges? I have a bunch of them just sitting in my inventory

 

Spend them for parts?!

As for actually using them for power idk lol

 

This is Brutal Legend

 

They have 2 uses: Recharging your battery when using Zonai contraptions. Go into the Items menu and choose "Use" and your battery will refill a bit with small charges or all the way with Large.

The other is as currency for the Zonai device dispensers.

 

I like that there is so much fire fruit in abundance just everywhere in this game, that I can't see myself ever firing just a regular plain arrow at an enemy for any reason again.

 

I haven’t updated my game and turned off auto update in case I want to duplicate more shit but, did the update help with using the powers of the sages at all?

 

I have so many fucking gold apples, hearty truffles, diamonds, and stalnox horns thanks to duping

 

Beat the wind temple today. That was fun.

 

I hate some of these Proving Grounds shrines so fucking much

 

They can be difficult without vigor ;)

 

So I said to myself, I have today off, tomorrow I go back to work. So while I have this day, what is the most useful thing I can possibly do for myself to set up the rest of my week?

And the answer: Skyview Towers. I have now completed every tower, so I have a place to warp to in order to explore each region in earnest.
