Fantastic moment in a shrine just now where I threw a spiked club at a weak pillar and it broke, sending three guards to their death in the water below. Love what you can pull off in this game with a little ingenuity.

Curious if anyone is playing this through emulation to get that 4k 60fps? Still wild to me that Nintendo didn't upload the specs with the OLED model they released a year or two ago.

 

I can only seem to get the dupe glitch to work like 70% of the time. Guess I’m not good at pressing two buttons at the same time.

The fire temple was kind of meh, and Yunobo is incredible annoying.

there was a shrine i did this afternoon where you gotta figure out how to roll a ball across a big gap on two rails and i couldnt grasp it so i just slowly walked across the gap on the single rail and completed the shrine lmao

 

Man I've played 30 hours of this and the only actual progress I made is:

Wind temple
40ish shrines
And only just today did I get autobuild and my first battery upgrade. I'm at the entrance to the fire temple, I've basically just been exploring and shrines lol

 

I dont even know how you'd come to that idea Goro!

 

I know the shrine. Did it the other day. Was close to doing the same but figured it out.

 

Do the battery upgrades happen organically as I continue the main quest, or do I need to do something with Zonaite on Great Sky Island? I've only got the one battery and no idea how to get more. Don't wanna look it up though.

 

There is extra stuff outside the main quest you gotta do. Won't spoiler it but it works similarly to getting heart containers or stamina. Takes a bit of grinding actually.

 

Just figured it out haha. Fuck that is a grind.

 

Best temple was the water for me.

 

Pretty much in the exact situation as you except I've done like 56 shrines. Happy to have finally completed my map too

 

After puttering around the Goron City area and taking a detour to explore the Secret Hyrule Passage cave network, I'm now in the absolute thick of it: I'm in the Fire Temple.

Boss fight pre-Temple was pretty sweet, although not as cool as the Wind Temple fight, but that's fine.

Yunobo is alright by me, as he's saving me a load in bombs and hammers.

 

I think I'm gonna ignore the suggested path of going to Goron second - Zora is just far more interesting to me and I love Sidon

 

I hated it it took me forever to find 3 of the locks and there’s no way I got to any of them in the intended method because those cart tracks were impossible to navigate.

 

I did zora second and was fine

 

Animal Crossing meets Zelda. This is the greatest game.

Why do my companions actively run from me during battle when I’m trying to use their power it’s fucking infuriating

 

There's a short quest in Tarrey Town involving Hudson's daughter and it unlocks the ability to build a home by buying and arranging rooms. Just make sure you have 10 sundelions for the quest

 

Also, when you build your house, there's a very familiar song from Ocarina of Time that I love
