I am still at the stage of refusing to watch any videos to help me solve shrines, but I came close to giving in to the Built for Rails shrine. Ended up cheesing my way through it in probably the most complicated way that kind of all unfolded by accident, but I’ll take it.

 

Rescued the Great Deku Tree today, so I finally got more inventory slots for Armor/Weapons. I was sitting on 44 korok seeds.

 

Got Autobuild. I like how the Purah Pad upgrade questline that gets unlocked after that, I already did so much that I didn't really need to do anything to get all the upgrades besides just fast travel to the Akkala Tech Lab that I had previously already cleared out.

 

Great feeling when you talk with an NPC and get a quest started notification, and then get a quest complete notification 2 seconds later because you already did the thing.

 

This game has so many moments where I’m like “how the fuck did I not think of that?” I beat two of those Flux Constructs (block monsters) before I realized you could Ultrahand the main block and make him fall apart.

 

I took a 3 day break from this after I saw my 80 hours of playtime lmao.

great decision though i’m fuckin back and thirstier than ever for some progression in this perfect game.

 

One thing I like is that Hatenoans now have their own distinct cultural identity separate from the Lookout Landing Hylians.

Lookout Landing, Hateno, Lurelin, the nomadic stable people, and Sheikah all having their own culture as Hylians really makes this world feel more fleshed out.

 

Currently at the laundromat sitting in my car, pissed I didn't think to bring my Switch to pass the time lol

 

Unlocked all five wind turbines for the wind temple. Need to stock up before taking on the boss.

 

Just make sure you have enough bows, I went through a few. There should be enough arrows in chests in the temple to last you.

 

Wondering around Hateno for days looking for the one villager I haven't given a mushroom to yet.

This was a pain because it seems like you have to catch them at the right time of day. I had one farmer who finally appeared in one of the vegetable gardens that I swear I had been through three times already lol

 

Replace the map button in the wheel with a whistle button and open up the downward dpad for something more useful

 

Technically there's also a dedicated camera button too.

 

Just got the final dragons tear and I’m not sure I’m gonna be ok ever again but what beautiful writing and story and characters.

 

Got the Master Sword!

 

I rode on a dragon's back as it flew into a chasm, and stood on it's nose as it flew through the depths. Might be the most awesome thing I have ever experienced in a video game.

Botw may have made me feel like Frodo on my way to Mordor, this game made be feel like Atreyu riding on the back of Falkor.

 

Caught a star fragment while falling from the sky and am still in awe of what this game can do.

 

I’m at 7 hearts and 1 extra stamina. Also found the dude who’s simping over the satori gems. Good stuff

 

It's the best! Never knew I'd love that so much, but what an experience for being such a small thing.

 

I did the same thing and it was amazing. Such a feeling of wonder and awe. What a game.
