I’ve waited 6 years. A couple more weeks won’t be much to wait.

 

Waiting to play won’t kill me but trying to stay unspoiled might lol

Just preordered and used a floating holiday for that day lol

 

My local GameStop is apparently doing a midnight release and I’m weighing whether or not I have it in me

 

Jedi survivor will hold me over til this comes out.

 

You can get used to the frame rate that way lol

 

XCI file is being uploaded so it’ll likely be playable on PC by the end of the day via rom.

Seems like a regular thing for Nintendo now. Really unfortunate

 

In other words: do not go on YouTube or you’ll have the risk of seeing spoilers in clickbait thumbnails

 

damn this comes out the day my wife and I are going out of town to Austin for a night

Unfortunately I don't think this game will be for me so I won't be playing day 1. I don't like crafting things, the gameplay footage felt like Minecraft and the different menus looked too busy. I don't wanna have to horizontally scroll through 50 items just to fire an arrow. I wanna be wrong, so I'll definitely be watching some of my favorite streamers play and determine my thoughts from there.

Plus, I'm having fun with Horizon Zero Dawn right now and am afraid I will forget the controls if I switch to something else

 

I agree about the menus. Hella convoluted. Hopefully we can pin stuff.

dont know if this matters but i have the Day 1 OG switch, is this gonna run well on the new switch or am i going to have issues with graphics? Like, for example, it was recommended to me to not play the newest assassins creed on an xbox one for playability issues. i'm not planning to upgrade my switch anytime soon, and dont wanna shell out for the game if its gonna be a pain hah

 

Iirc, the internal processing of the newer Switches never really changed. I think you should be fine

Doesn’t matter. Same exact performance. Your switch will run hotter than a new switch that is all.
