I get one shot every once in a while but I haven’t run into too many overworld enemies that I can’t handle with my current heart count

I have purposely avoided a couple lynels just because I don’t want to deal with the hassle of repeated defeats

 

I've got 100+ hours lol. I think I've done basically all the main parts of the game at this point

 

I want to find a lynel but definitely afraid of one covered in gloom heh.

 

I'm at 90 hours or more on this. Whooo. I don't see myself trying to go for endgame till I'm at like 200 hours at the minimum.

 

this is not a slight to the story at all but i just have absolutely 0 interest to advance the story right now, shrine grinding and side quests are just too much fun.

 

I’m the opposite. Maxed out my armor of choice last night, Ganondorf dies today

 

I'm only at 50 hours. Need to step my shit up.

 

i ventured into the depths last night for like an hour and activated like 6 or 7 lightroots and was very discouraged to see how little of a space that actually opened up on the overall map lol

got the dark armor tho. pretty badass. however when its nighttime i am Link Bridgers in my glowing skeleton onesie armor

 

Haven't even been to the depths yet, is it well-known and obvious that light roots are under shrines?

 

are there a lot of entrances to the depths? i've only found the one near the beginning of your time in Hyrule

 

there are tons of entrances to the depths and every time I've been there's like nothing interesting there

is a light root only opened up once you complete the shrine, or can you open a light root for a shrine you've yet to even find or complete?

 

They’re all there from the beginning. I’ve actually found a couple of shrines this way.

That’s good to know. To be fair it’s nearly impossible for me to access anything there yet bc of all the gloom and I’m still early in the game

 

Last night was the first night that I felt like I accomplished something. I haven't had the game long enough to see how many hours I've put in, but it feels like the 15-25 hour range.

The first week I spent time mainly just exploring and looking in weird areas collecting materials and finding rupees (only have like 500-600 tho). Last night I focused on the Tullin quest. The most challenging thing so far has been the path to get to the Wind temple. The combat is my weakness in this game so I try to avoid everything, but couldn't avoid a construct thing on my way up the sky. Eventually made it to the temple and stopped for the night.

Totally thought I was gonna need to use a guide for the fire temple lol but I fucking did it finally

felt the same way about the wind temple, feels good being able to figure it out on my own at long last
