I killed the gloom hands inside of the Deku Tree, it's followed by a fight against some gloom form of Ganon (really easy fight, at least for me) then the Deku Tree shows you where the sword is and that it seems to be moving in the sky
I'm currently having Arctic Adventures, scouring the cold zones for shrines and mysteries. Anyway, I found this cave near a hot spring that has a bunch of rock walls to blow up, and when I was about to leave, I found this tiny little hole that I could crawl through, and when I arrived on the other side, it was this brightly lit room filled with mushrooms. Really pretty, and it's amazing that I can find little gems like that with all this game already offers.
Near-endgame-plot spoiler: I really don't like the mech / Mineru being the final sage. The mech is so clunky and looks ridiculous, and story-wise it just kinda feels lazy? If they wanted to go a tech route then I think having Purah/Josha be the sage who then operates the mech would have been much more fitting. Mineru just did the exact same thing Zelda does, but in tech form. Also the method of getting it is so underwhelming -- I guess the whole "connect the body parts" thing is functionally a dungeon, but it's like the second you get it you go straight to a boss fight, so there isn't much you have to *do* with it* And operating it just sucks. I've found the best utility for it is to get connected, connected some Zonai cannons to it, then let it blow up enemies independent of me. I've found its cannons don't hurt me that way
yeah it feels like wasted potential. There's only so much to do: -go to lightroots -do yiga challenge things -fight the special enemies/colosseums -find the mines/clothing No real quests beyond that. The beginning of the game hypes up that everyone is exploring them, but nobody is actually down there except yiga
Just did a shrine where I had to use Recall to move balls into particular holes and I did it without consulting a guide and I feel like a genius.
Wow apparently your horse can get murdered off screen. I left mine to climb a cliff, a few hours later he is no longer listed in my stable :( Bye bye lil Sebastian....
I don’t want to know where exactly, but is the Hylian shield in the floating section of the castle, or the base?
wait, horses dont return to the stables if you leave them? they just hang out in the fields waiting for you to go get them? balls
Yep! But if you go to a stable and ask for the horse, they'll get them for you. This time I didn't get that option lol
the depths and the mech were easily my least favorite part of the main story. It was a drag to get through. Just didn’t feel like Zelda
Picked up way nicer weapons at the castle + the hylian sheild and the champions tunic, also found the climbing gear and got bokoblin mask, lol this is the best game ever made
Scanned all my Amiibos I got from Amazon and ended up with 2 Eponas and I now have a 122 damage weapon.
I've done basically all of the main parts of this game and I haven't had a single weapon over 80. I guess I could probably do it with a gloom sword or something but that'd be a waste. No idea how people are breaking 100. The strongest item enhancer I've had is in the 50s
I got a Hylian shield like the first day of playing then lost it like an hour later to a Like Like lmao
