I am again at the same dilemma as botw, do I do alternate between cashing in for heart containers and stamina wheels to keep it balanced? or do I just try to max out my stamina asap because it makes exploring easier?

I’m a fan of alternating, until you feel like you have enough hearts, and then it’s stamina only

I get what I feel I need the most at the time.

    So hearts lol

I don’t really remember when I tapped out on getting hearts in BotW. Probably when I stopped dying so much lol It definitely wasn’t nowhere near what Link has at the beginning of TotK

Also due do all the Zonai devices I feel like stamina isn’t that important in TOTK

I’m enjoying this so much. When I first played BOTW I was so focused on beating it like it was any other game, I didn’t truly enjoy it until after when I went back to do all the million things I missed.

With this though I’m just savoring everything, taking my time, going off on crazy tangents and what not. I don’t care how long it will take me to finish because I just love it all

I haven't played either game yet, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Tears Of The Kingdom still provide a typical Zelda experience with the building just being an additive game mechanic vs. Nuts And Bolts, which from what I've heard does not provide a typical Banjo experience and in fact actively made fun of the typical Banjo experience in the opening sequence?

    1. They’re a lot different from what 3D Zelda games used to be.

    2. The typical Banjo experience needed making fun of ;D

I take your point though. It wouldn’t surprise me however if a new generation of developers, who didn’t have the N64 Banjo bagage, has been inspired by N&B by way of Rare Replay though. It really was a very cool, smart game.

so where do you get solid heat and cold resistant armor?

and is the consensus that the Rito temple is the best one to start with?

Yeah but honestly most of the time i don't feel like building a bridge or a boat to cross every river, and rather just try to swim it.

Also I don't want to get into the situation I was in botw, where I want to get the Master Sword but I have barely focused on stamina and have to grind hard as fuck in the shrines just to get where I need to be.
