Man I wasted so much time just wandering around exploring before I started making progress lol. Normally that wouldn't be a bad thing but I got way ahead of myself and didn't do a few of the first few essential quests. So I couldn't really do a lot of what I needed to once I got pretty far away from the center of the map (no paraglider, no towers, etc.)

On the bright side though, I knocked out a ton of random shrines. So I can just warp back over there whenever that time comes.

 

Everyone fuse Puffshrooms to your shield, raid a goblin fort, block a bunch, and laugh at the results

 

Looks like if you’re full on meals a lot of these guys who give you meals as rewards will give you rupees instead

 

This just happened to me but I didn’t get rupees they just told me to come back later :(

 

Hmm interesting, maybe it’s only with these repeat side quests, like the sign guy and the guy who gets trapped in monster forts lol.

 

The sign guy gives you money and food

 

Yeah, but he was giving me 20 rupees and two meals and when I was full on meals he gave me 40 rupees and a bomb flower

 

He’s been giving me:

1) rupees
2) a meal
3) a random selection of attachables/consumables

 

Found one of the most useful previously-DLC items, Majora’s Mask. It’s located in the lynel colosseum, in the depths south of Lookout Landing. You have to beat 5 lynels in a row lol, including one with the equivalent of the savage lynel crusher

Is there anyway to get ancient arrows in this game? If so then easy.

 

When I finish work today, I'm gonna fly through the rest of Opus, cause each new post makes me want to play this so bad it hurts.

 

I love the phases you go through with each task in this game.

I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out a shrine that ended up being the easiest solution possible. I was trying to galaxy brain it so hard.

 

there’s two Death Stars! One above Zora’s domain and one on the western side of the map. I did not figure out how to “properly” get to the latter, I just cheesed it using zorai devices lol

 

haven’t come across any 1HKO items in the game yet

I’m so used to lynels in BOTW that I know how to take them out easy enough as long as I have strong enough weapons. Their moves are very predictable and there’s always time to dodge/flurry rush. The only exception being the crusher lynels that you *have* to parry at certain points, those can be trickier but still very beatable

 

Someone make me a list of the songs Link hums when he cooks. I’ve noticed the Lost Woods/Saria’s Song and the Link’s Awakening song.

 

Yeah, I was at the point where I could easily just farm them. Still too chickenshit to do that in TOTK lol.

Having the Sensor and Hero Path mode is fucking amazinggggggggg

 

Just switched the minimap to being north at all times and MAN I like that so much better.
