The depths remind me of the upside down from stranger things

 

Guys I’m stuck on the icy mountain with seemingly no way down HALP. My axe broke so I can’t chop trees for rafts or ladders or anything.

 

... You're telling me I can make LADDERS!?

Getting down that icy mountain definitely sucked and I died a lot. I wish I could remember what I did but I managed to climb down somewhere and then leaped into water further down from there

 

Did you make it to the shrine up there yet?

 

Apparently somewhere after the shrine on that mountain you can find cold resistant armor that I TOTALLY missed. Ugh. I really don't want to go back there, that was tough lol

 

There is a very easy way down from the icy mountain that’s like a shortcut back to temple of time.

 

I was having doubts and anxiety all day today bc Walmart never sent me a notice that it shipped and didn’t charge my credit card yet.

Came home to a nice surprise. It’s happening!

 

I saw it, but with no axe i couldn’t make a ladder up to it so I continued on. Now I’m literally stuck. I’m surrounded by icy water that kills me and icy walls I can’t climb. I think I broke the game? Is there another way to chop trees down?

 

There's absolutely no way I would have ever figured out the fixed device shrine without looking it up

If you continue further down that river isn’t there a bridge? And across that bridge is like the ONE non icy wall that you can climb.

 

My thick stick sure is breaking alot

 

there is a section of the icy walls that are melted by a waterfall that you are able to climb up, its where you probably scaled sideways by the waterfall you can go upwards instead. I'm not positive where you are but that's how you get up to the shrine

 

I can't believe I figured it out myself tbh

Yeah that's what I did, I didn't build anything to get to that shrine

 

lol oh no I think I accidentally skipped the 2nd shrine and went straight to the icy mountain. I didn't realize it I got Ascend and saw there was a gap in my abilities.

 

Hahaha me too. Took me so long to backtrack to the "true" second shrine
