Yeah the biggest weakness of BOTW imo was how thin the story and characters felt. Obviously Zelda games don’t exactly have Metal Gear-level plotlines in general, but there was a lot to be desired. Like you have to get the Champion’s Ballad DLC to even see any of the champions actually showing off their skills

I actually really liked the Hyrule Warriors Age Calamity game for that reason — it gave us way more time with all of the main non-Link characters

Reviews have me absolutely drooling

 

I was planning on taking work off on Friday and start playing at midnight tonight but I was out with Covid the last three days and was cleared to come back to work today and feel guilty taking more time off so I'm not gonna be able to play until tomorrow evening :(

But I am soooooooooooooo excited.

 

Yeah story and dungeons are the main things I'm hoping this game improves over BOTW.

 

The Legend of Zelda truly is the best gaming franchise ever

Amazon tends to be on time most of the time for me, but never tried a preorder heh. Their shipping center is only an hour away and it's being delivered on a dedicated Amazon truck/van

I have purposely not watched or read much about it and I am really excited for this. I loved BOTW.
