I know I'm not the only one who wants Zelda to be the chosen hero for one game and fight Ganon with a sword but good luck getting that one past the Nintendo boomers or just make link a girl one time. the gender is only important to the main trio's roles if you're a conservative Japanese game developer
Super late to the convo but MM is a literal perfect game — time element, save statues, and all. If you have a problem with these things, it’s kind of a skill issue. There is more freedom in MM than there is in OOT or WW. The whole game is essentially an opportunity for side quests.
I need the links awakening remake bad. I’ve got a link between worlds and majoras mask on 3ds but never played either and I have windwaker on my steam deck via emulation but haven’t played that either
Watch the Zelda-centric game be a sim where you have to design and manage Hyrule Castle or something .
Those types of games have zero appeal to me. Not sure why Zelda couldn’t go on an adventure or quest. I wouldn’t mind if they made a sims type game with her, I just wouldn’t play it.
Throw in an RTS element like Stronghold, where you have to command troops to defend the castle walls you constructed against hordes of Bokoblins .

Also Zelda can go on quests...to the caverns to mine stone so you can build a library extension to your castle
Nah. I’d just keep playing other Zelda games. you can cook in TOTK and BOTW. Haha my brain just is not interested in Stardew Valley with Zelda.
Because she's a woman Honestly, that sort of game could work well if blended with the motif of rebuilding Hyrule after the Calamity. But I believe I'd heard Nintendo's finished with this iteration of the world.
