Honestly, I think they should have been redeads. They look more like them than gibdos.

 

At the water temple aaand Sidon is nowhere to be found so I can't access the travel point. So confused. We arrived at the islands together but I thought he said to split up? Where am I supposed to find him?

 

Oh nvm he just didn't spawn right away, weird

 

4 shrines to go. Got a little sidetracked and I had to get some things done. Will pick it up soon. Maybe beat it tomorrow at this rate. I took way too long getting across some small islands and I think they were meant to be how I got to the main island there. But I floated in from a tower, so those small islands led nowhere as they seem to be there to jump from the starter sky island to get to the one I was at. Sigh.

Haven’t really seen anyone mention the Will of the sages. I got my fourth last night and decided on Tulin as I use him the most. I then found two more today and will do Riju or Mineru next.

Also, the island in the way north west with a dragon is too damn high. I tried 5 times last night. What am I doing wrong? I can’t reach it.

 

For the Master Sword, do you need 2 Stamina rings total or 2 additional rings? Trying not to look at guides but wanted to ask because I think I’m close to getting it.

Just beat the lightning temple. Took mayeb two hours. Way easier than expected. Ganon time?

 

Still shrining the night away. I finally broke the hundred mark on my shrining. I figure another day of this, maybe two, and I'll finally be where I want to be in terms of the land, and I'll be ready to move on to the sky.

Two shrines in particular gave me some pleasure in solving: one where I had to free fall faster than an iron ball so I could manuever a switch into its path below, and another where I had to build the world's dumbest rollercoaster.

I think that latter one someone had mentioned, about the shrine with rails and metal platforms that slide on them? I finally figured out the best thing to do was to basically make a box around the rail and then position the fans in a way so that they also act to hold the box in place. It was a pretty satisfying achievement when it worked.

I can also tell I'm getting both stronger and better at fighting enemies, because Taluses don't even faze me anymore, and I beat another Phantom Ganon. Still haven't tackled a Lynel or a Frox though. And I definitely am not ready for a Ghidorah Gleeok. I don't plan to fight them until I have pretty much everything.

 

I LOVED that freefall shrine. It's crazy to me how I'm reading about shrines people have done late in their gameplay, I did early on through just grinding and fucking around. I love that this game allows for that though.

80 hours in, and just got to the Wind Temple. I'm pretty much going to do main story from here on out with side stuff/shrines/extras in-between. After this temple I'm gonna finish the Tears quest, and get building on Lurelin.

 

Finally found all of the light roots. The payoff was underwhelming to say the least, but at least now I have tons of shrines to complete. Pretty certain I'm never going to actually fight Ganon.

 

Finally got all shrines and lightroots. Just moved on to the main story again. I’m sure I have tons of side quests left (only three currently open), but I’m satisfied just going into the home stretch now.

 

Well, I beat the game tonight. That final fight is intense. Much better than the BOTW final fight.

One of My final shrines was a training one haha it taught me how to use bullet time. A little late for that.

Earlier today, I completed my house. I’m living it up.

Super satisfying to have found all the shrines without using a guide at all. And really the whole game outside of a handful of things I looked up, plus some tips and tricks from people here. Like just using a bomb arrow for those huge targets in shrines. The one with spikes where I think you’re supposed to make ice to slide across, I just used bomb arrows and beat the shrine and got the chest in like 30 seconds.

What an incredible game. I have some side quests to do and hundreds of koroks to find still. But I think this just took the top spot of both Zelda and overall games for me.

 

so in BOTW beating every single shrine gets you the Tunic of the Wild set; do you get anything after beating every shrine here?

I wish I put a star on each tree I've seen throughout the game. I only starred one of them thinking it lit up caves for the whole map. Now I can't find the pink tree when I need it. I just fly around until I find the little glowing satori but sometimes there's multiple caves so that doesn't help. Aahh.

 

it lights up all the caves, correct? I wish it only showed areas where i havent found the bubbul gem

 

What a game. I just finished the main story with all shrines and lightroots found. I have about half of the side quests done and all but four of the side adventures done, so I might just Google those when I want to kill some time. Already logged a billion hours though so I’m really happy with the whole thing and where I left off. What a ride.

Just beat the Wind Temple. Fun hour and a half, boss fight was good times.

I've had no issues with Tulin thus far. What's the beef?

 

Tulin isn't much of a problem for me, except when I'm trying to pick something up, he gets too close, and I hit A on him and he blows all of the materials away.

Yunobo is never where you want him.
