when i'm in the depths i'll sometimes switch my minimap to the surface map so I can see if I am going to run into a wall I can't get over, aka a river

 

I've been avoiding the depths whenever possible, but I know I'll have to uncover it all eventually and I'm not looking forward to it

 

depths rule. get down there.

 

i'm becoming more open to the depths after hating them initially. i killed a marbled gohma and got a powerful fuse item so now i can do 88 damage with a single swing. that made me feel better about them.

and i'm getting to have enough lightroots now so it doesn't feel like i'm walking around in blackness always. it still is a bit repetetive though.

 

It took me longer than I'd care to admit to figure this out lol

 

I murdered Colgera once already in the wind temple so why am I seeing this motherfucker AGAIN in the depths?

 

I've got a lot of work to do in the Depths but I visited all the poe statues to unlock all the items

 

if nothing else, farming zonite for energy wells down there is a must

 

What else can I trade my poes in for? I’ve already purchased all the available armor from the statues.

Yeah, I could, but I already have a hundred or so and I have like a thousand poes that I'm wondering if there is something else coming I need to save them for.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time down there lately just exploring and opening lightroots and they are too tempting to not pick up every one I see haha.

 

I’m not going to buy armor from the Poe statues because I’m getting them through my amiibo. So, I don’t really know what to use my poes on so far. But I have only gone to a few statues.

 

was spamming A to pick up resources. activated the goron companion, which while normally he doesn't damage you if you throw him into a bomb flower that 100% does damage you

fortunately had a fairy, but guess I gotta be more careful there

 

I think there’s 7 pieces of armor you can’t get from Amiibos. I could be wrong though.

 

The ones I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure I already had some of from the amiibo. But there are more statues for me to find, so I may not have come across them yet.

 

Did the fire temple last night. Definitely the first of the three where I did not think I was completing it in the intended way. I hardly used those dumb carts and rails at all and just climbed and glided basically everywhere. There were all of these switches to change the paths of the tracks and I basically bypassed every bit of it.

So from what I remember every new statue you find it updates to allow you to buy a new exclusive, but it also starts selling any amiibo clothing you’ve unlocked or that you’ve found in the depths

 

Makes sense. I knew more would coke as I unlock statues. Just have too many things I want to do.

 

once you get all the good stuff from Poes, it's worth it to trade extras for bomb flowers

66 shrines done, master sword and dragon tears acquired, 3 fairy fountains, wind temple defeated, house acquired...

I'm like not feeling in the mood to dive into the other temples just yet but have no idea what i wanna do with myself in the game today lol. Got let off early from work.
