I’m the opposite, I mostly had full shields slots almost always. That and bows. I rarely use shields.
Fun memory I remembered: in the tower with the ridiculous amount of electric wizrobes I was evading them like a boss using ice pillars and jumping (after an embarrassing amount of retries). so I finally reached the tower itself and as I was climbing it a wizrobe teleported in front of me. He motioned an attack and I was so ready to evade but he pointed upwards and summoned a goddamn thunderstorm, and I was, “wait he could do that?!” suddenly everything looked way more dramatic. So props to that homie wizrobe who instead of trying to defeat me gave me a much needed boost to an already cinematic moment
best moment of the game for me (so far) was still when i found the Hylian Shield. put a big-ass grin on my face, especially since i didn't see it coming
Almost done beating the game for the first time. Going to download the additional content once I’ve defeated Calamity Gannon.
OH YEAH, i beat all 120 shrines btw! heckin awesome getting the Tunic of the Wild set! leveling that up by grinding for dragon parts (which is a pain) is basically the only real thing left to do in the game for me now after beating all the divine beasts. i wanna make sure i got the Wild set all to 4 stars before facing Ganon
finally maxed out the Wild armor set!! congrats to me, thank you thank you guess that means i have to finally face Ganon/beat the game now...
at 119 shrines and the last one I need to do involves waiting for a blood moon and holy crap its annoying just waiting for one knowing you need it.
That one is annoying as hell (took me like an hour to get a blood moon) but at least you know what exact shrine you're missing
holy shit that shrine was annoying. i tried to wait there a while but got impatient and left; the damn blood moon decided to show up when i'm halfway across the map. i panicked, teleported to the nearby shrine and hauled ass to get on that pedestal before it faded away. think i got to it with around 5 seconds to spare, lol.
I got so lucky with the blood moon shrine. I finally came across it and said to myself, “Oh shit, this must be THAT shrine” only to look in the sky and see the blood moon haha.
this game has soured me on the entire medium. it's just such an unmatched masterpiece. can't wait for the DLC.
has anyone gotten to find/ride the glowing blue horse? i finally found that area yesterday while waiting around for the blood moon shrine (which i still havent completed) and I happened upon this, so many blue rabbits and the horse is super fast once youre able to tame it. it took almost all of my 3 stamina wheels to tame. you cant register and board it at a stable though.
I got the hylian shield and immediately displayed it in my house in Hateno Village. Don't wanna risk it breaking and having to spend 4000 bucks on it at Tarrey Town
ive only had this for about two months and i realize how much i have to do each time i read this thread.
I have 100 Korok Seeds, 119 shrines, i've beaten the main story, and have nearly half the side quests complete and I am only at a 30% completion of the entire game lol
Holy shit.. just reading this makes me realize how desperately I need to start playing this again. I only have like 80 shrines, 80 Korok seeds, and still have to do Ganon’s Castle, but I’ve put in like 100 hours so it feels like more.
Two of my friends have recently bought a Switch and have been playing this game and telling me about it. Itching to pick this up again but Mario post game is incredibly fun Such a nice problem to have
I wanted to get all the shrines completed before I picked up assassins creed and dove completely into that but at 30% I feel like I still can't quite put this down yet haha theres no way im going to seek out all 900 korok seeds though.
