Just a heads up it's worth getting all the captured memories (and go back and talk to impa to complete the quest) before you do Gannon as you get extra dialogue in the end credits for doing that.
i am getting massacred in my first divine beast (Vah Ruta) - any tips on what weapons i should be using? Should I leave, get more exp. and come back? I only have 4 heart containers and I am getting one-shot killed every time. love this game but by far the most difficult this early in the game of any game ive played in this series.
Thats the best one. Use it to launch in the air when fighting enemies to utilize the bullet time for my bow. Plus I use it to scale tall cliffs/buildings.
Just beat the game and come to find out I've only completed 52% of the entire game haha. Even though I've completed 95 shrines and found 330 korok seeds.
came back to this yesterday for a little, I took a break after I got all 120 shrines. gonna sit down tonight and find all of the side quests I still have to complete. I would never, ever do this for any other open RPG style game, let alone be excited to do it.
is there like, a common path people have taken in this game or is it truly up to your own preference? like i just completed Vah Ruta in Zoras Domain, and it was my first Beast. I am so far loving the freedom of the open world, but definitely prefer like, in past Zelda games, a set order to do things in for my own sanity haha
I did zora -> goron -> rito -> gerudo and it seemed fine. Definitely put Gerudo last, it's the hardest boss fight among the 4 imo.
I'd like to know how everyone got 120 shrines. Did you look some up? I haven't played for a few months because I could not make progress with the last four.
Yeah, I looked up a few of the remaining ones at the end. I felt like I had spent enough time wandering around before it became annoying.
Was going through this thread as I started playing this a couple weeks ago. Fun thing I discovered yesterday that I don't think was ever brought up in here is that if you have a fire weapon equipped it will help with cold resistance. Like I was in the Hebra area with just the snowquill torso piece on but was fine cus I had a flame spear equipped
I looked up the last few. There was one underground in Hebra where the entrance is pretty far from where the shrine is. That's the one that finally broke me. And about the last 150 korok seeds...
I don't even know how I would even begin to look up Korok seeds. That's one thing I probably won't complete... maybe.
Breath of the Wild Interactive Map Use the legend to just show Korok seeds and hide completed. When you click on the Korok seeds you can check them off which makes it much easier. You just have to commit 15-20 minutes to sit there and go through and match it to your in game map. After that, it's a breeze. just check them off as you complete them in the game.
wow, I used this for the last few shrines I couldn't find but had no idea that you could check things off like that. damn it now I have to do everything.
I thought it would be possible with the map showing everywhere you've walked, but there are shrine quests so that won't work. I'm going to cave, I gave it an honest try.
