I don't think I can pick a favorite moment. But I do enjoy just travelling to random places without any particular goal. I remember wasting so much time shield surfing the northwestern snowy area that I somehow managed to break most if not all my shields. I pretty much did that for 2-3 days as soon as I got home from work and it felt so calm and peaceful.

EDIT: Now I'm craving for Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing on Switch

 

Good on you for not looking it up. I legit couldn't get to/figure out where any of the terminals were for at least an hour so I looked a couple of them up and the dungeon still took me over two hours. Then I got destroyed by the boss multiple times until I remembered how to back flip flurry rush. Super tough dungeon though.

 

I need this in my life asap

 

Is there a way I can check how many shrines I've completed? I really don't want to count them by looking at the overworld map.

 

Anytime you teleport or load anything it says the number of shrines you've done in the corner

 

I just read that there's one of those Octoroks that suck in air and spit crap at you in the Eldin region who, if you let it suck in one of your weapons and then kill it, you'll get it back with its durability fully restored. Can anyone confirm/deny?

 

Yeah. You let it suck a rusted weapon and wait for it to be spit out and then it turns into the royal variant. I'm not sure if killing them while the weapon is still inside them works, but the way I mentioned def does the trick.

 

So it only works with rusted weapons and not just any damaged weapons i.e. a Lightscale Trident?

 

Yeah I believe so. Only rusted weapons.

I think you can reforge the lightscale trident though. Zora Region.

 

Yeah but I'd rather sell those materials. Thought I'd found a way to have my cake and eat it too. I am so deeply disappointed right now.

 

Well shit. I have no idea why I've never paid attention. I just see those animals and stuff.

 

I found a spot in the game where every enemy has an elemental weapon and amazing shields. It's a gold mine in one convenient location so I'm not worried about those anymore. I just wish I knew where to get snow boots. I just got climbing boots from a shrine, wondering if I need to do the same for snow boots. Walking in the snow sucks.

Urbosa's Fury is a godsend. About to make Lynels go the fuck extinct.

 

When everyone was saying use stasis on enemies I didn't get it. But now...

 

Just got a Switch and played this all night, I love it. The things I thought would bug me (framerate/weapon durability) thus far have been pretty manageable leaving me to enjoy the hell out of everything else. I got the hanglider, a horse, a few more shrines, and now I'm at Kakariko Village.

 

Enjoy. 60 hours later and I still don't want to stop playing. It's amazing how huge the world is and how much there is to see and do.

 

I think I put in around 60 hours and find it hard to jump back into this. The only thing I have left are the memories and Ganon. I just can't commit to finishing it.

 

I only have Ganon left and I'm still just having a blast exploring. I've been examining the map and going to sections I've never been before. Like I just found a hot spring in the North West, finished all the labyrinths (I think). I can't even imagine ever being done.

 

Haven't played in a week and I feel bummed. Completed all shrines and sidequests. Is there anything else to do besides the Koroks? I have every attire as well.

 

Did you get the medals yet?

 

Kilton's? Nah don't feel like having to deal with all Lynels. Killed about 4 of them and feel accomplished enough lol.

Do you get separate medals for killing the Moldugas and Hinoxes?

 

Lynels isn't even one of them. It's hinox, talaus, molduga
