    Cursed by my ancestry

Reminds me of Animal Crossing. Love it.

The suicide dialogue caught me off guard, but it was a really heartfelt message.

Holy shit, just found and tamed the Lord of the Mountain. This game keeps surprising me, 60 hours in.

I am getting wrecked by the heavy Yiga Clan enemies at their hideout. I have like 13 heart containers and am consistently being one-shotted

    Just use Sneakstrike.

    I don't recommend attacking them head-on

Can't catch any of these fucking dragons. I'm just letting time pass by now on top a mountain wait for one to pass by. lol

I'm spending way more on this game than I thought I would. Picked up the 8-bit Link amiibo today

I've found that they show up at certain times. I could farm materials from the yellow one by just waiting by campfire until night then running out onto the bridge in the southeastern region. Cant remember the name of the bridge or lake, but it's a wooden bridge and there are a lot of waterfalls around the lake. The dragon flies right under the bridge so it's easy to get scales/horns/etc.

I had a harder time finding a good spot to get good shots at the red dragon. He shows up first thing in the morning in the northern mountains over kinda by goron city.

Anyone else notice the music around the Death Mountain area in this game is the same melody as the final dungeon in the original Zelda on NES? God, I love it.

Pretty convinced this will be my favorite game ever, if not already.

9 more shrines. Timing the blood moon one sucks.

Yeah that's been my issue. I have no idea how to predict a blood moon.

Explored the castle yesterday to finish the memories and just mess around, went right to the room where I assume a cutscene would trigger to fight Ganon, but I didn't go far enough in.

Still have Gerudoto tackle, and less than half of the shrines done. At almost 50 hours logged.

I haven't used guides or partaken in any discussion about where to find what, but I just decided to look how to obtain the Master Sword and have a question on that front:

The guide I looked at says you need 13 hearts to pull it from the stone. Do I need to have them in the form of permanent heart containers? Or will green/temporary hearts acquired through Mipha's Grace, etc suffice?

Not sure you can do it that way, but if you trade in some stamina containers for heart containers with the black angel statue in Hateno Village you can acheive it that way. Then if you want your stamina back you can always trade back after you get the master sword. Located in this area:

Just checked and I'm at 75 hours...

Technically I only got the memories left, and then Ganon. But I've mostly been just shrining and side questing.

wasnt there a guy by the dual peaks stable who tells you what type of moon it will be that night?

Without spoiling anything, are there any actual dungeons aside from the shrines?

The Divine Beasts act as the "Dungeons" in this game, where they include a pre-entry mini battle, pretty lengthy shrine-like puzzles, and then an eventual Ganon-possessed boss.

Every time I've saved up 90% of the Rupees I need to buy a house, I stumble upon a new set of armor or something to spend it on. My real-life lack of financial responsibility has translated seamlessly into Hyrule.

Are we at a point where we can already post our DLC wishlists?

    Mine are probably:
    - at least 1 new region. I'd be really happy with 2

    - bring back some more enemies from old games. My number one pick is redead
    - repopulating existing areas with new things (like new combination of enemies, etc)

And I'm really hoping Hard mode is crazy. While I don't think the game is a cakewalk, I haven't been really having a difficult time either.

You can buy a house? I feel like I really have no idea about so much of this game right now.

I will say though that I've never had this sense of life like wonder in terms of exploration in a game. Maybe it's the climbing.

Buying a house is the only way to get desert clothing, so it's worth the time investment.
