I've done 45 shrines now. Trying to hit 50 before I do my second dungeon but they're becoming harder to come by.
That Zora plot was bittersweet and quite touching. Also, in terms of dungeons (and puzzles in general) this is definitely my favorite Zelda game.
I absolutely love this game, but I'm gonna make a list of stuff I would change. (This is me nitpicking) - Voice acting. Zelda and the Zora chick in particular are very bleh. Rather the developers not bring voices into this at all. - Wish there were some more familiar tunes in this game. (Lost Woods/Saria's Song please!). I love that they kept the Zora Domain music though, such a beautiful theme... and Epona's Song in the later stables, love that one! - Not being to climb while it rains is infuriating! - Stables are nice and all, but I wish my horse would just come to me whenever I whistle. - Motion control shrines can go to hell. - Some of these side quests feel empty. I guess it's better than nothing, but I love those side quests that were really touching in previous Zelda games. Majora's Mask probably being the most moving.
Can't count the number of times I was scaling a mountain when suddenly rain comes in, but I've personally never been bothered by it. I actually found it pretty cool that every once in a while the game fucks up your routine like that.
I got some really awesome shit from using my amiibos today. Windwaker cap. Sheik mask. Big Goron Sword. I love it.
I've been playing for the last 11 hrs. I should sleeeeeep. Found the master sword but still can't retrieve it -_-
Sheik amiibo gave me the Sheik mask, if I remember correctly. And Ocarina Link got me the Big Goron Sword.
Anyone else here come across the pitch black darkness shrine? It's pretty cool. This game is just so massive and full of puzzles and I love it. EDIT: also im at 55 hours apparently
did my first divine beast last night and it was so cool, great dungeon design. looking forward to exploring more and doing more shrines until the next one.
Yes, that one was really neat. Most of the overworld shrine quests have been really fun. I'm at 80+ shrines completed and having such a hard time finding them now. Just looking for interesting points on the map, like the one you mentioned, and exploring.
What area is the shrine that's in total darkness in? Also i finally beat the last Divine Beast yesterday. That was the hardest dungeon for me by far. Took a lot of trial and error to get through. Boss was harder to beat than the others as well.
I don't mind the no climbing in the rain either. I kinda like keeping my eye on the weather while I'm climbing. If I see rain coming in the forecast, I make a fire and "sit" until the the next part of the day. By the way I always kill chuchus with fire. I use the fire jelly to start fires and save flint to dye my clothes black
found the master sword, felt pretty clever figuring out the trick to navigate the woods (unless the game tells you and I just missed it?), was disappointed but not surprised that temporary hearts don't count towards being able to pull the sword. Also I have been loving filling out the compendium by taking pictures of everything
I ran out of arrows and he did not land for ages. In general the bosses aren't difficult though, my guess it that is by design so people don't get stuck there.
Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, it's in the northeast section. it's part of the quest line from Purah about what to do with your ancient materials you pick up from defeated/dead guardians
I have a total of 50 hours in mine and beat Ganon at 45 hours. Does anyone know how you can get the Fierce deity and Skyward costumes? I have the classic, twilight, Ocarina, Wind and dark Link costumes.
