I'm on my way to the Gerudo dungeon now. Then it's Hyrule Castle. Also learnt how to fuck up guardians today.
I thiiiiiink I know what you're talking about. parrying with a guardian shield?. also Idk if that was spoiler appropriate but always I err on the side of caution lol
Nah, I think I just have weapons that can appropriately damage them now and I've figured it's easy enough to shoot the eye and then hack off the legs. They're much less dangerous when I'm not constantly running away, ha.
There's also the guardian arrow you can craft at the ancient machinery/guardian research lab that kills them in one hit.
Any section you need to remove will have an eyeball. Any left over you just have to find a way around/over. Try climbing shit and gliding over.
Is this for the Akkala tower? If yes, there's a high place near the tower half of which is covered in sludge (just above where you found the eye) and it's sort of shaped like a hook. Just climb that one. And glide to a side of the tower that has no sludge. If it's not Akkala just ignore all of this
Just spend some time doing kokariko side quests today...the hidden ninja near the hidden shrine 1-shotted me :(
I've completed all four divine beasts and am going to spend the foreseeable future just exploring the world. Just in the last hour I saw a shrine through a crack too small to enter that was inside of a mountain and discovered I had to find a cave entrance on another side of the mountain to get to it, battled through a giant labyrinth, and explored pitch black ruins by torch light for a neat little shrine quest. This world is so damn fun and rewarding to explore. Not even halfway through finding these shrines yet.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but you don't really need stamina for climbing mountains as long as it's not vertical. When your stamina runs low keep holding up on the left stick, and then tap B. You'll run for a few seconds, and your stamina will recharge
Is there any way to collect weapons and store them somewhere? Like, I I can't carry everything obviously. I'd love to have a shed to throw this crap in.
Been absent from this thread since I got my Switch and Zelda. Just wanted to share just how happy it all makes me. I haven't wanted to play a game when i'm away from it this bad since Pokémon Heart Gold.
You can buy weapon/shield/bow mounts for 100 each after you buy the house. You can put 1 of said items in each mount.
If I have any complaint about this game, it's the motion control puzzles. Don't understand how these made it in, they're hilariously broken. Some would make sense if I was using a Wii remote, but swinging my gamepad like a hammer feels wrong.
I kept my distance and shot the eye with arrows when it flooded the room. I also killed the Lynel on the mountain so I was able to gather over over 40 lightning arrows before enter Vah Ruta, so I had a lot of those to spare. If you don't have the arrows to spare, though, I think as long as you aren't on the platform diagonally across the the room from it you should have enough time to shoot it and then get over to it and hit it with melee attacks, right? Separate spoiler for a place where you can buy lightning arrows, but it has to do with the location of the Master Sword: If you go through the Lost Woods and get to the Great Deku Tree, inside of the Great Deku Tree is a small area with a free bed to sleep in, a shop selling different kinds of mushrooms, and a shop that sells other things, including lightning arrows.
