After getting the camera activated / album of Zelda's pictures, I have no clue where to go aside from looking for random shrines. Am I really supposed to wander the map until I find the exact spots where those pics were taken ?!

 

Yupp, lol. It's not essential, there's no in game reward for getting any of them past the first one but you do get the "true ending" of the game if you find all of them.

 

That's just one quest. You'll pick them up as you go. The divine beasts are still the main story focus.

Not sure if people on here know this, but you can use any amiibo, not just Zelda ones, in this game to get stuff. For the non Zelda ones, you get food.

 

There's an NPC that'll help you out that you first find in Kokoriko Village after you do something for him.

I found him on the left eye of Skull Pond, which is in Akkala.

 

Yeah. I have 8 unboxed amiibos, but my SO has 2 of them. I think I still have 10 unboxed tho haha.

 

It has taken me since launch but I finally completed the first four shrines

 

Have you just been spending a lot of time exploring the starting area?

 

Finished the third dungeon a few hours ago. Spent the evening going to the towers I hadn't been to and looking for shrines so I can beef Link up a bit. Have 15 hearts and two full stamina wheels right now.

Got another dragon scale but I have no idea where I'm supposed to take this one.

 

You've caught up to me now! Hopefully I'll get to play tonight. I've played like 10 mins over the last two days. How do you get the dragon scales?

 

My American copy showed up today so now I finally have good box art.

 

Find and "fight" the dragons

 

I've tried jumping on a couple and that didn't go very well, lol.

 

I haven't even seen a dragon. :(

 

That and I've just been playing a little bit here and there when I have time. I think last night I put in 2 hours. The most I had put in before that was probably about 45 minutes.

I have just been mainly hunting and killing Bokoblins. I learned how to cook yesterday. Plus I'm usually terrible at these games but last night it all started clicking for me.

I LOL'ed pretty hard at the little cutscene when you step on the flowers too many times outside of a shrine. (I forget the name of the shrine but there's a lady guarding the flowers around it).

 

Yeah work has been keeping me occupied these last few days which sucks.

Looking forward to the weekend. I'm still at the second dungeon.

 

I've been bouncing around the map so much that I haven't focused on dungeons. Not sure if I want to do the camel or the bird first. Got the Master Sword, finished all of the towers, and have something like 11 hearts. Maybe I'll focus on my gear first.

 

I have played for probably 12 hours and have yet to even learn where the first dungeon is, let alone reach it haha. I've just been running to towers, gliding to shrines from there, and attempting to get as many hearts as I can before I dig deeper. And I'm having so much fun doing that! Despite getting one-shotted by p much everything because I'm not supposed to be there yet lol. Have 6 hearts and two stamina upgrades, resolving to continue the main quest line next.

 

How much stamina does an upgrade grant you? I chose hearts the first two times, but should probably do stamina next, I imagine.

 

I want to know this as well. I feel like hearts need to be my priority, but I should pick up some stamina at some point.
